What to do if someone appears - appears, mind - to be dead from having had one too many sweet sherries? Cold wet cloths to the head, hot water bottles to the feet, call the doctor and be sure to loosen the neckcloth - the person will no longer appear to be dead. (They might actually just be dead.)
