Potions Eleven

... Eleven shades of glitter from the toilette bag of Miss Leggy Pee. These essentials are packed in readiness for a fun weekend of Cabaret gigs- the Art Club Cabaret tonight, then tomorrow morning an early flight to Paris for Sentier Des Halles with Hedwig on Sunday.

Leggy and Charlie

Spotted at Spangled Cabaret. I've no idea how this photo got taken- maybe my phone fell into the hands of a mischief maker.

Dress me up

Having fun with the Miss Leggy Pee dressing up doll. I like the 'forgot my blouse' look.

It's All Over

Tonight sees the end of just over two weeks of endeavour, endurance and the quest for the achievement of excellence in entertainment. No, not the Olympics. I mean the Edinburgh Fringe.

I was delighted to perform tonight at the closing ceremony, sorry, show at the amazing Bongo Club Cabaret. Three of my five Fringe spots were here, and I loved every minute- especially getting to see so many fabulous acts of every conceivable variety- acrobats, poets, clowns, singers, dancers, and a good number of indescribable people who don't sit well in a descriptive box.

I wish I'd actually taken some sodding photos.

Best venue ever

We're back in the minibus on the way to the Orkney ferry, and it's time to catch up on last night.
Lyth is a brilliant little venue, owned by a retired jazz musician who lives in the adjoining house. There's also a self catering house,, a true home from home with bathrobes and a fully stocked fridge. We had a great breakfast cooked by Stephen 'Eggs in the Morning' Westwater.

I love it here- really hope I can come back someday.
