Un petit peu de maquillage...

I'm a girl who likes dressing up, that's something that most people know about me. I think I got my first make up kit for Christmas age 11 or 12, not long after my Halloween guising as Boy George, and I've been acquiring it (and gradually getting better at using it) ever since. What I'm not getting any better at is rationalising it, only buying what I *need*, and occasionally throwing some of it out. Hence I have a large craft box heaving, nay, overflowing with the stuff, yet I still regularly buy multiples of goodies going cheap in Watt Bros or TJHughes which I have no room for.
I played Frank at Rocky Horror this weekend for the first time in nearly two years, and found it really difficult to remember which products I used to use to create the whole Tim Curry face. So today I thought I would take stock a little; sort things out and maybe (no!) get rid of some things.
Bad idea.
I now have a small dining table groaning under the weight of .... here goes.... At LEAST:
13 different foundations
6 powder compacts
6 blushers
38 individual powder eye colours
15 eye colour palette sets
5 liquid eyeliners
15 ish eyeliner pencils and brow pencils
9 mascaras (in various states of dried up ness)
25 or so different forms of glitter
A litre ice cream tub of lip colour (probably around 30)
9 pairs of boxed false eyelashes
10 ish pairs of loose reworn false eyelashes
10 blusher brushes (! where did they all come from!!!)
and last but not least
1 pair of real human hair false sideburns

The most ironic thing is that , in "normal" life, I rarely wear the stuff at all.
Maybe it's time to start?
