God I loved these little silver mini platform sandals! They were never the same after I wore them to the Rocky Horror 30th Birthday Party, tripped over and pulled my fishnets through my toenail. They're now held together by sellotape and good for nothing but crying over.

Having a tidy up today, going through piles and piles of submerged packed-away things, kept for either sentimental or maybe-it-will-come-in-useful reasons. And realising that, much as I cherish the item and the associated memories, the time has come to acknowledge that some things just have to go.
These were the original shoes I wore as Deirdre the usherette when I started the character at Smith & Blackwood's Casino Royale in 1997. I'd bought them in Toronto in late 1996, when it would seem having the feet of a drag queen was de rigeur.
