
Having a tidy up today, going through piles and piles of submerged packed-away things, kept for either sentimental or maybe-it-will-come-in-useful reasons. And realising that, much as I cherish the item and the associated memories, the time has come to acknowledge that some things just have to go.
These were the original shoes I wore as Deirdre the usherette when I started the character at Smith & Blackwood's Casino Royale in 1997. I'd bought them in Toronto in late 1996, when it would seem having the feet of a drag queen was de rigeur.
Rest in peace white patent platform sandals!
